Staying alive Staying alive
An MTV survey has found that 75% of young people are having unsafe sex by not using condoms.

And of those three quarters of the extraordinary 59% believe they have no chance of coming into contact with HIV.

Other findings of our new Staying Alive survey include:

» More than 10% think they will avoid contracting HIV/AIDS just because they are “Not gay.”

» 15% think that it is not a virus that affects people under 25.

» One in ten young people believe that HIV/AIDS is not as life threatening as it used to be with others thinking a cure is now available.

The survey was commissioned to coincide with the launch of Staying Alive Lip Butter in Body Shop stores. All profits from sale of the product will go to helping AIDS/ HIV awareness.
