An old couple complained to urban superintendent of police DS Chowhan that their daughters had injected HIV-infected blood to one of them in order to kill them for their property worth Rs 50 lakh.
According to police, Rachakonda Ranga Rao of Nagarampalem retired after serving in the electricity department. He married Bharathi after the death of his first wife Kameswari. He had one daughter each by the two wives. His second wife Bharati fell ill recently and was admitted in a private hospital where his first wife’s daughter Durga was working as a nurse.
The couple complained that Durga, with the connivance of her step-sister Kameswari (second wife’s daughter ) and Kameswari’s husband had administered HIVinfected blood to Bharathi.
The couple came to know about the conspiracy when Bharathi tested positive for HIV during a test at the government general hospital, they complained
