IECA youth fights against HIV/AIDS discrimination - AngolaPress

Kuito – The national youth director of Angola Evangelic Congregational Church (IECA), Osvaldo Augusto Chissonde Mame, informed Monday in Kuito city, Bié province, that a project to fight discrimination against HIV/AIDS positive people starts in May.


In a statement to Angop, the official stressed that the project is based on organization of gospel festival, dubbed “Musica para Vida”.



Osvaldo Chissende Mame said that the programme aims at elevating esteem of HIV/AIDS positive people, so that they are inserted in the society.


The church youth director guaranteed that British Non-Governmental Organization “Terra Fand” already expressed availability to support the project.
