Dimapur, March 26 (MExN): The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire had organized ‘One Day STI/HIV/AIDS Awareness program’ on March 16 last at the college auditorium with the theme : “Sharing of Responsibility on Health Care.”
The resource person was Dr. L Yawthan, Medical Superintend of District Hospital Kiphire, who was also former Additional Director of Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS).
. He enlightened the role and importance of RRC in the educational institutions and also urged the students to be active members of the club and also supplied sufficient inputs on STI/HIV/AIDS. Meanwhile, Chemtila, Programme Co-ordinator Drop in centre (DIC) of Kiphire district elaborated on activities of DIC and also invited students to come forward for counsel and to make use of its office, stated a press note.
